I excitedly went with my 3 kids to the first day of the winter market, my kids Love veggies and adore the market. But we were all extremely disappointed that as a low income family we could not get anything because the both that exchanges Foodstamps for tokens was not there. Why? Will it be there in coming weeks?
Thank you for comming to see our farmers on our first day of this new year. I am sorry to hear that you were unable to bring home anything from the market due to the EBT service not being at the market. You can expect to see the EBT/Credit services at the informaiton booth at the start of our regular season in April (the 7th to be exact). We have been following the customer support levels at the winter market for the last three years and it has been gaining momentum but until this season the amount of customers at the market has not justified the cost of setting up the information booth with full staffing. I anticipate that next year the winter market will include these services due to the increased customer traffic we are seeing each year.
